Hi! I’m Arantza Sánchez

and I’m a Spanish teacher specialized in homeschooling.

Discovering other cultures and lifestyles while traveling around the world has allowed me to learn about different educational systems and to create my own methodology with the best of each one. The result: a different way of teaching Spanish, developed for families like yours who want to give their children at-home quality education.

My passion is education. My mission is to give children tools that provide them with confidence in themselves and dream of the future they want.

I have always known what my calling was: teaching. And in order to live new experiences and improve my way of teaching, I decided that the best thing to do was to do research all over the world. That led me to do immersions in the educational systems of England, Texas, New Zealand, and Utah.

I have been fortunate to surround myself with incredible professionals and live meaningful experiences that have made me who I am today.

My life philosophy is that you have to get out of the comfort zone to enter the zone of discovery and… magic! where good things always happen.

I believe that learning works best when we have fun. When our minds are relaxed and we let ourselves be surprised. When it is lived with excitement, creativity and motivation..

I am a teacher, as I am a dreamer

The soul of the project “My Spanish Magic Zone” is based on accompanying children as they grow and helping them create their world without limits. This learning program is suitable for all families who want to get out of their comfort zone and give their children the best resources.

“Your kids will learn Spanish while they discover the world.”

I always keep a map handy to think about my next destination. I feel a great thrill in planning it, living it, and then remembering it. Every life experience teaches me something new, and I incorporate each learning into the way I teach.

I am persevering and positive, a passionate traveler in love with discovering cultures and broadening horizons. I conceive my life as a constant exploration of the world, and I spend a lot of time observing and feeling close to nature.

I love dancing. Dance is the engine of my energy. I enjoy doing cultural immersions in the countries I travel to, learning about their music and cultural heritage. I have performed dances like flamenco, Latin, African… any style is inspiring to me.

And all this is channeled in my teaching style: dynamic, close, fun, innovative.

I have a deep interest in knowing people’s story. Today, I want to tell you a little more about mine.

My path has always been tied to teaching and learning languages. When I finished my studies as a teacher in Spain I decided to move to London to learn English (I also started from scratch in a second language) and to immerse myself in the British education system, where I learned a lot about active pedagogies.

My next destination was Houston, Texas, where I stayed from 2014 until 2017. There I worked in the bilingual program in the largest public district in Texas and the 8th largest in the US. That experience changed me forever as a teacher. I learned to work with first and second graders at risk of social exclusion and developed my language teaching skills.

When I finished my last course I went backpacking for 9 months in Asia and Oceania with the desire to learn other cultures and then teach. I ended up staying in New Zealand, where I spent 3 months volunteering in a local school to discover a new educational system: project-based learning, where each child’s learning time was respected.

I returned to Spain with a backpack full of learning, and I finished defining my teaching model with a Master’s degree in Bilingualism in my hometown, Madrid.

In 2019 I returned to the USA, this time to Utah. I was fortunate to work in the district where the Dual Language Immersion program in Spanish was being developed. I spent two school years teaching Spanish in Kindergarten to 5 year old children, where I was the first teacher in their lives and taught them in a language different from their native language.

It was then, challenge after challenge I felt it was time to use my experience as a teacher around the world to create my own method of teaching Spanish.

 My Spanish Magic Zone classes

are the piece that will complete your educational project with your family, I look forward to meeting you!

All my experience is embodied in My Spanish Magic Zone: a methodology for your children to learn Spanish (and much more) where you will see the first results from the first week.
